This accredited qualification aims to inform employees of the basic food safety practices that are crucial in a retail environment.
Upon successful completion of this course employees will be able to make improvements to the business to ensure food safety is maintained and at the highest standard for the end consumer.
This qualification is developed specifically for those who are working in, or are wanting to work in, a retail environment where packaged and open foods are available. It is also suitable for those who provide a service, such as delivery drivers.
This is an Ofqual approved qualification and has been created specifically for insertion onto the Qualifications and Credit Framework with full support from Skillsmart Retail, the Sector Skills Council for Retail. It meets with industry and regulatory standards and is recognised by environmental health practitioners, auditors and other enforcement officers.
